Local Restaurants
We are so fortunate in Portobello to have a great range of dining options within walking distance.
One of our favourites is a small Spanish tapas restaurant on the high street. Run by a Spanish family it is casual dining with good food and coffee andwe highly recommend the Sangria, Malvarosa
We also really enjoy Guild of Foresters. This friendly bar is at the far end of the high street from us and does good food, generous portions and has a fun outdoor eating sheltered section.
For a Fish and Chips by the seaside there is St Andrews on the High street which offers take away and sit in dining.
We ave a nice bistro and bar on the high street The Skylark, where you can dine in or go in fora glass of wine int he evening.

The Espy is a bar within 10 minutes walk on the beach where you can go for a drink or meals.
The Boathouse is at the end of the prom and has a large outdoor terrace which is sheltered and also does occassional live music.
Miros is a bistro with a good range of home baking and iecreams on the prom.
We also have a casual dining local Chinese restaurant offering sit in and takeaways. Chef Chi.
And there is a more formal dining Indian restaurant which does a great range of delicious Indian food. The Bonoful.
We also have a range of cafes locally where you can go in for coffee and cake or light bites. There is Passeys and the Beachhouse as well as Miro’s Pantry.
